Hurricane Ike happened September 12/13, 2008.
We are finally getting close to getting the repairs
complete. The upstairs carpet is being
completed today. That completes to upstairs
except for the hardwood floors for the master
bedroom and master closet. But the flooring is
on backorder (from TENN) until Jan 23rd. Once
the carpet is complete and the upstairs put back in
order we should be able to complete the downstairs
master bedroom and master bath.We are supposed to
have our coldest morning next Monday, December 22.
The forecast is for 29 F, but we are usually a
little cooler here on the west side. That is a
chilly morning for Houston.

Nicolas is playing 9th grade basketball; his first
game is today. High School academics is kicking his
backside. So much to learn. |
KAELA
DECEMBER 19, 2008
Kaela has started on a hyperactive medication (the
lowest dose she could get) and all her grades have
gone up significantly. She actually comes home
in the afternoon and does her homework and does very
well at keeping track of what she has to do. |
CARISSA

Carissa loves private kindergarten and is doing very
well. She thinks it's cool to have homework
like big brother and sister. |
